Weekend Harmony

Saturday Morning:
William and Daddy build a marble track, I worked on basting a quilt.
Matthew and Joseph build a couch cushion fort.
Saturday Afternoon:
Enjoying some sport with the Olympics
Sunday Music Time at Church:
I'm in charge of teaching music to the primary children. After showing several pictures of Christ and getting comments like "That's when Jesus was a baby," "That's when Jesus was crucified," and "That's when Jesus was resurrected,"--I held up this picture:
My own three year old hollers out from the front row:
"That's when Jesus was a butterfly!"
Thanks Weekend, it was splendid, can't wait to do it again.

So glad that youre teaching your children correct principles of the Gospel--that Jesus was a butterfly. Joseph will soon be converting to Buddhism (the national religion of Japan), where they believe in reincarnation. Nice job. Hey Im sending you a sweet note in the mail--hope you get it soon. Thanks for calling on my birthday. I love you.

Primary is the best place to be on Sundays. the kids are wonderful and I always end up laughing at what they say. One week in Primary an 8 yr old boy finished giving his talk and then said, "And that's all bitches". Now that was funny!

Don't you love it when it's YOUR kid that spouts off the fantastically apostate remarks in primary for all to hear? Makes a mother so proud...

Just your come up'ns when little Emily Wintch replied to Diana Wade, after being asked what some of the blessings were if we live the word of wisdom, "if we eat right then we won't get AIDS". Whenever my moms tells that story, it cracks her up every time:)
