A little accountability

In an effort to find the self discipline to accomplish these tasks, I am giving you, dear readers, my project list for the week.  Because there's nothing like having to answer to some ethereal, unseen, internet blogging buddies to light a fire under you.  Ha ha, you actually all hold a powerful sway over my life and I would hate to disappoint.  Here it is:

  • Pick up the hubbies dry cleaning
  • Mail rebate cards
  • Catalog food storage
  • Make food storage replacement chart
  • Hang/move drapes in the 2 boys' rooms
  • Finish final grouting/sealing of the bathroom tile (yes, almost done . . .)
  • LAUNDRY:  including folding AND putting away in the APPROPRIATE place
  • Think of some class activity, prepare it, and present it at Wednesday's mutual
  • Wash, iron, replace bedding on guest beds
  • Buy Matthew some new pajamas (it's pajama day at school Thursday and his are footy pajamas, doesn't work too well with going to the bathroom and all that).
  • Get more shelves for the basement
  • Organize basement
There you go
  • Oh, and take Will to the doctor
  • and buy some milk
  • and BLOG
I know it's not much but I only have a few free evenings to do it.  We'll see how it goes, I'll let you know on Saturday.  If you, Stie, Grammy, and Gremhog could just come for the week to do the organizing (Stie) the drilling(Grammy) and the ironing (Gremhog), that would just be fantastic for me!  The writers strike should give me the time I need to get it all done, of course Lost does come back this week . . .

First off you need to do the dry cleaning service that comes to your door to pick it up and then drops it off when done. It's the only way to go.

Also, I have never, ever ironed sheets. You are clearly a way better hostess then I am.

As far as the food storage.....I just let it go bad, feel guilty, throw it out and then put buy new food storage stuff on my to do list.

I am a HUGE help, I know.

You are a busy mama!

I ditto Bridget on the sheets and the dry cleaning. Please share the food storage chart. I think I need one of those. Oh, and more food storage.

And thanks for reminding me about Lost!

Be sure to post pics of the new bathroom! I'd love to see the new look (even though I don't know what the old look was:) Do you always write down your to-do lists? I hope so, then I can tell Matt that I'm not the only one! HAHA

I will most happily come help you with the organizing, but only if you promise NOT to ever iron bedding again. SERIOUSLY make me that promise. You are just making the rest of us look bad.

I'm tired from just reading your list. I think I need a nap.
