Weather Warning

While driving in the car yesterday with Matthew:

"Mom, Heavenly Father answered my prayed."
--He did?  What did you pray for?
"A sunny day so we could go play on the playground.  I tried to tell Mrs. Matyi but I couldn't."
(Mrs. Matyi is his kindergarten teacher and apparently it wasn't his turn to talk)
--What did you try to tell her?
With the biggest most knowing and confident smile he replies, "That I did it."
(That he is responsible for the sunny day.)
"That it was me.  Prayers can just do such big things."
Ohhh Little Monkey, I love you.
Later that night before Matthew said the dinner prayer he paused for a moment, tilted his head toward me and with a mischievous look in his eye said, "I'm going to pray for a snowstorm."
Just thought I would give you other mid-westerners a head up.

How much am I loving your return to blogland? SOOOO much.

But tell that kid to pray for 80 degrees and low humidity, please. I could use a dose of that right about now.
